WebSupervisor

Databoom allows the integration with the WebSupervisor portal. This article shows how to connect your units in Databoom. It's important to keep in mind that for each user in Databoom it is possible to connect only a WebSupervisor user.

Generating an applicationToken

• Go to https://portal.websupervisor.net and click on SIGN IN in the top right corner

  

• Fill the Login ID and Password
• Click the name in the top right corner, then click on Profile

  

• Click on Show next to the Primary Key and copy the Primary Key

  

• Click on APIS in the top left
• Click on v1

  

• Click the red button TRY

  

• Paste the Primary Key in the text area next to Comap-Key
• Insert the username and password in the request body

  

• Click on the red button Send
• If everything's correct, the server responds with the applicationToken
• Copy the applicationToken in a text file to use it in the next steps

Get the unit GUIDs list

An unit corresponds to a device in Databoom. It is possible to add a new device by clicking Devices in the side menu, therefore click the Add device button in the top right corner

• Select WebSupervisor as device type
• In the WEBSUPERVISOR panel, paste the applicationToken
• In the WEBSUPERVISOR panel, fill the username
• In the WEBSUPERVISOR panel, fill the password
• Copy the unit GUID (ex. "genset4512420e3cd34d42acf736f30c0a4fd0") you want to display in Databoom then paste it in the Unit GUID field in the WEBSUPERVISOR  panel in Databoom
• Save the device

Once the configuration is completed, Databoom can connect to WebSupervisor in a safe way

Adding signals to device

An unit value corresponds to a signal of a device in Databoom. To add unit values to the newly created device you need the unit values GUIDs list 

• Click the Add signal button in the device view to reate a new signal
• Add a signal for each value you want to display in Databoom. You must update the signal token in Databoom with the value GUID
